Adventure Week 2026: Explore. Learn. Adventure.
The Outdoor Learning Centre is delighted to announce the return of Adventure Week 2026, taking place from Monday 10 August to Friday 14 August 2026.
Designed for young people moving from Year 6 through to Year 9, this exciting week-long programme offers the perfect opportunity to build confidence, learn new skills and create lasting memories through a range of outdoor adventures.
Running daily from 9.00am to 4.00pm, participants will enjoy a varied programme of activities led by experienced instructors in a safe and supportive environment.
A Week Packed with Adventure
Throughout the week, young people will take part in a range of exciting outdoor activities, including:
- Mountain Biking – Develop riding skills and confidence on local trails.
- Bushcraft and Survival Skills – Learn practical outdoor techniques and essential survival skills.
- Hiking and Orienteering – Explore the countryside while learning navigation skills.
- Paddleboarding and Canoeing – Build water confidence, teamwork and communication skills.
Adventure Week is designed to encourage young people to step outside their comfort zones, work together, solve problems and develop resilience, all while having fun in the great outdoors.
Who Can Take Part?
The programme is suitable for young people who will be entering Years 7, 8 or 9 in September 2026 (Year 6 leavers up to Year 9).
For safety reasons, participants must:
- Be at least 140cm tall
- Be able to confidently ride a bicycle
- Be comfortable in and around water

- Dates: 10–14 August 2026
- Time: 9.00am – 4.00pm daily
- Cost: £250 for the full week
- Booking: Full-week registration only
- Places: Limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis
