Youth Service exchange visits provide young people with the opportunity to step outside their everyday lives, explore new places, meet new people and experience different communities and cultures. Through shared experiences, practical challenges and residential learning opportunities, participants develop confidence, independence, resilience and the skills needed to thrive in education, employment and community life.

At the heart of every exchange is the chance to build meaningful connections. Young people work together, support one another, learn from different perspectives and create friendships that often continue long after the visit has ended. Along the way, they develop teamwork, communication and leadership skills while creating memories that will stay with them for years to come.

These exchanges are more than just visits. They are opportunities for personal growth, cultural learning and adventure, helping young people broaden their horizons, raise their aspirations and discover what they can achieve when they step beyond their comfort zone. As the programme continues to grow, future exchanges will provide even more opportunities for young people to learn, connect and succeed through the power of youth work
